One gift certificate for an adult day-long program with VILDA
Vilda is a non-profit organization offering nature connection and wilderness skills education to the communities of Marin and Sonoma Counties, as well as the Tahoe/Truckee area. (adult workshops will be held in or near Marin County.)
Vilda is not just for kids. Earth skills and nature connection are essential for adults as well. While there is no "no adult left indoors" movement yet, we think there should be. The benefits of nature connection for adults have been proven through multiple studies. There is a wonderful sense of belonging and confidence that emerges from knowing basic earth skills such as fire making, wild foods and shelter building. Our programs also build community and friendships with others who enjoy learning about our natural environment. Unlike more academic courses, our programs are active, hands on and place-based. Come learn and play with us!
